Spectra at Marina Bay Sands is an immersive waterfront show blending choreographed fountains, dynamic lighting, vivid projections, and a sweeping musical score. Its precision-programmed water jets, mist effects, and water screens are illuminated by underwater LEDs, brilliant lasers, and graceful moving beams, while large-format projectors bring imagery to life on the water and a 12-metre glass prism centerpiece. A sophisticated control system synchronizes every element, supported by hidden pumps and weatherproof infrastructure, delivering a flawless nightly performance against Singapore’s iconic skyline.

A 10-minute show that saw the integrated resort adapt Spectra, its nightly multimedia light and water show, for a Top Gun-themed showcase set to light up the skies, complete with a dazzling display of choreographed pyrotechnics. The event, which was free and open to the public, was the first public fan event staged by Marina Bay Sands since the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
Set against the stirring Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack which includes Lady Gaga’s new single “Hold My Hand”, a soaring anthem specially written for the film by the singer-songwriter herself, spectators was mesmerized by a visual spectacle featuring state-of-the-art projections, lasers, lights, and dynamic water effects alongside electrifying scenes from the upcoming sequel. The special rendition of Spectra was accompanied by a captivating orchestration of pyrotechnics, while Top Gun projection mappings illuminate Marina Bay Sands – from the three iconic cascading hotel towers and underbelly of Sands SkyPark, to the façade of ArtScience Museum.

The 14-minute outdoor extravaganza features captivating Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour-inspired dancing fountain jets, colorful visual projections, beaming lasers and lava effects synchronized to the rhythms of Cruel Summer, You Belong With Me (Taylor’s Version), Shake It Off (Taylor’s Version) and Style (Taylor’s Version).

Marina Bay Sands Festive Light-Up - Star Wars: The Last Jedi Edition saw the integrated resort adapting its nightly multimedia light and water show, Spectra, to help launch the movie.
All spectators were awed by the show. It was a state-of-the-art performance combining lasers, lights and water movements with visuals from the upcoming Star Wars film, set to original music from the film franchise.
