The evening of 1 August which saw REBEL FC host its inaugural 8-Man featherweight Knockout Tournament, Battle Royale, at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre, was a gruelling test of brains and brawns, with all the bouts either ending in TKO or decisions. It was a reflection of the MMA athletes' high level of skill and resilience that a fight either had to be ended by a referee's decision or a deliberation of a judge.
