After a decade away, National Day celebrations returned to the National Stadium — now part of The Kallang (formerly Singapore Sports Hub) — for Singapore's 61st birthday celebrations, in a fresh, technology-driven production.

Seating close to 42,000 spectators in this dome-shaped roofed venue, NDP 2026 delivered the largest lighting production in NDP history — comprising 1,654 entertainment lighting fixtures, 54 laser units, and 170 special effects units, about 50% more equipment than the previous Padang shows.

The fixture inventory totaled 424 EagleStrike LT, 390 EK H1 IP, 350 Pixel Line, 180 Strike M, 108 Arolla Aqua LT, 84 Arolla Aqua, 84 Xframe, 12 Strike M (97 Channel), 4 Robe iForte LT (as Robospot), and 18 4K followspots.

Lighting control comprised four grandMA3 Full Size consoles — two for the live show (main and back-up), and two paired with Depence 4 for visualiser and pre-visualisation.

Lighting design spanned over a year of planning and drafting. The production also marked the first-ever indoor drone light show in NDP history. The show's most demanding segment was its fourth act, a medley of television and theme songs transitioning every 30 to 50 seconds, requiring a unique look for each song while moving seamlessly from one to another as a cohesive chapter. The lighting design worked in tandem with an arrow-shaped stage stretching over 160m in length
